Bitdeer Technologies has strengthened its position among the leaders of the global Bitcoin mining industry, overtaking the American company #Riot Platforms and taking fifth place in terms of its own hashrate.
The company added about 5 EH/s of computing power as part of the SEALMINER program and brought its total self-hashrate to 35 EH/s. By the end of October, Bitdeer plans to reach 40 EH/s, which will further strengthen its position among the largest public miners.
Unlike its competitors, which focus on selling equipment, Bitdeer is actively developing its own mining operations using proprietary SEALMINER A2 #ASIC chips. Over 22 EH/s of new machines have already been installed at the company's facilities, with another 5.5 EH/s on the way. At the same time, engineers are completing the development of a new generation of SEAL04 microchips, which should ensure energy efficiency below 10 J/TH and increase overall performance.
Experts note that Bitdeer's vertical integration, including chip manufacturing and data center management, makes the company more resilient to market fluctuations. At the same time, #hashrate growth requires significant energy and infrastructure costs, and the complexity of the Bitcoin network continues to increase.
Against the backdrop of declining demand for #mining hardware, Bitdeer is focusing on improving efficiency and margin control, and this strategy is already beginning to bear fruit.
