What is BEP-2 Tokenization Standard?

BEP-2 is the tokenization standard which is used to facilitate the transfer of BNB Beacon Chain (previously Binance Chain) assets operating on the BNB chain. All BNB Beacon Chain addresses begin with bnb as the first three letters (paying tribute to the symbol for Binance's main coin BNB). BNB Beacon Chain is one of two main blockchain networks built and designed by Binance — the other being BNB Smart Chain (formerly known as Binance Smart Chain).
