BUIDL is a slang term for 'build,' that was derived similarly to the slang word for 'hold,' HODL. BUIDL is a call to arms to members of the blockchain and crypto community to help improve widespread adoption of the technology by contributing to the construction of blockchain infrastructure. BUIDLing can be in the form of protocol or application development, writing blockchain-related content, sharing blockchain content on social media, using smart contracts, trading on exchanges, making use of wallets, playing blockchain games, or any activity that contributes to the long-term expansion of the blockchain ecosystem.
