Nearly any imaginable product or service is available through an ecommerce website including books, music, electronics, financial services, and more. Ecommerce is often used as a substitute to traditional brick and mortar stores because costs are lower, and the potential customer reach is much greater. Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba are some of the most well-known and widely used ecommerce platforms.
