What is Linux Foundation?

The Linux Foundation is a nonprofit consortium based in San Francisco that is dedicated to facilitating the growth of the Linux operating system (OS) and open-source software development in general. The consortium allows for widespread collaboration and education between members, and hosts numerous events and conferences each year. The Linux Foundation consists of over 1,000 members across the globe, including some of the largest technology companies in the world such as Facebook, Microsoft, and Google.
