What is London Good Delivery?

Set by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), London Good Delivery is a specification of the required attributes of the gold and silver that is used for settlement in the London Bullion Market. The specification also defines the ways in which gold and silver bars should be weighed, packed, and delivered, while also delineating requirements and standards for approved refineries.
