What is PFP?

Previously the term PFP simply stood for "profile picture." However, as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) became more popular, social media users began using their NFTs as their social media avatars. This gave rise to a new class of NFTs, specifically designed for this purpose, that are now referred to as PFPs.
