SCORE (Smart Contract on Reliable Environment) is ICON's framework for composing, amending, and initializing smart contracts on the ICON network. In ICON 1.0, smart contracts were written in Python. In ICON 2.0 (released in 2021), SCORE switched to utilizing JavaScript. This should increase performance, integrate better with ICON's Virtual Machine, and improve integration and development capabilities for software developers.
