What is Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC)?

Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC) is a subset of cryptography that enables functions to compute in a distributed system across multiple parties, without sharing data among other network participants. SMPC allows nodes within a network to jointly compute a function while keeping the inputs private from other nodes within the network.
