The TBTC Deposit Token (TDT) is a non-fungible token (NFT) used in the tBTC mechanism as the medium of exchange between tBTC tokens and bitcoin (BTC) as the wrapping takes place. New TDT is minted whenever a user requests a deposit to convert BTC to tBTC, and burned whenever tBTC is exchanged for BTC.
