What is Token Supply?

Token supply is a general measurement of the number of tokens that a blockchain protocol has created, or will create in the future. There are different types of token supply metrics, including maximum supply (the maximum supply of all tokens that will ever be created), circulating supply (the total number of tokens that have already been released to the public), and the total supply (the number of tokens that have already been created).
