What is Tor Browser?

The Tor Browser is a decentralized network on the internet that is designed to ensure anonymity online by encrypting internet traffic, which is then routed through several servers before reaching its final destination. The service is maintained by the non-profit Tor Project, and uses its own ".onion" domains for websites and services which can only be accessed via the Tor network.
