What is Trojan-Ransom Malware?

Ransomware Trojans are a specific type of Trojan malware designed to extort a victim after compromising the victim's device. In most cases, ransomware Trojans will demand a payment in exchange for undoing the damage the Trojan has inflicted to the victim's device.
