A Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) is an isolated environment within a device's main processor that allows for the secure and private execution of code without the risk of interference from the rest of the device or system. Only properly authorized code can be executed within a TEE, which uses both hardware and software to protect data and code from the external environment. Furthermore, the different trusted applications within a TEE are protected from each other via software and cryptographic solutions, and these trusted applications have full access to the device's main processor and memory.
