Who is John Bollinger?

John Bollinger is an author, financial analyst, and technical and fundamental analysis expert best known as the creator of the Bollinger Bands technical charting indicator. The Bollinger Bands technical indicator is represented by a high and low line on a chart (used to track an asset's volatility and whether it is overbought or oversold) with a mid line equally between the two. Bollinger has always been an advocate of the relationship between both technical and fundamental analysis instead of focusing on their differences.
