Bitcoin advocate Vivek Ramaswamy, also known for his anti-Ukrainian statements, has officially withdrawn his candidacy from the presidential race in #USA.
Concurrently, he has publicly thrown his weight behind Donald Trump's campaign for the presidency.
This entire campaign is about speaking the TRUTH. We did not achieve our goal tonight & we need an America-First patriot in the White House. The people spoke loud & clear about who they want. Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything… — Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) January 16, 2024
"... We need a patriotic leader who will put America first in the White House. The voice of the people has loudly declared who they want in that seat. Today [January 16, 2024] I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald Trump"the politician said.
Ramaswamy decided to withdraw his candidacy after Trump won the Republican Party primary in Iowa. The former president received 51% of the vote, while Florida Governor Ron Desantis received 21% and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley received 19%.
While advocating for the cryptocurrency industry, Ramaswamy has consistently emphasized that he is the only candidate who has a true understanding of how blockchain technology works.
