What is E-business?

E-business, or electronic business, is any business model that provides products and services to its customers over the internet. E-business is conducted by large corporations, governments, non-profit organizations, individual citizens, and many other constituents. Ecommerce is one of the most well-known types of e-business, but should not be confused with the general classification of e-business. Ecommerce is characterized by buying and selling products and services online through an electronic platform, but it is only a small portion of the true value of goods, services, and information exchanged on the internet.
