The Andreessen Horowitz Foundation (a16z) has announced that it has begun accepting applications for the third edition of the SPEEDRUN program. Through this program, the organization will award $750,000 to each qualifying team.
A16z SPEEDRUN acts as startups accelerator. The program is a 12-week educational event that will take place from July 29 to October 20, 2024 in Los Angeles.

The deadline for applications is May 19, 2024. According to Andrew Chen, the foundation's general partner, the initiative will have a budget of $30 million.
He also noted that the program is "at the intersection" of advanced technology and gaming.

Venture projects from categories such as blockchain infrastructure, #artificial intelligence, #Web3 games, engaging consumer apps, #VR/#AR and others are eligible to participate. Interested parties can submit their applications at the link provided.
In addition to financial support of $750,000 per team, the program offers guidance, #training, practical case studies, and the opportunity to establish valuable business relationships, as highlighted by Chen.
It's worth noting that Chen leads a16z Games Fund One, a $600 million fund launched in May 2022.
