Facebook and Instagram are considering advertising for bitcoin-ETFs, Nate Geraci, president of investment advisory firm ETF Store, said on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
In addition, a #Alphabet spokesperson confirmed that #Google and #YouTube have decided to allow advertising for the dot-com bitcoin-ETF after the US Securities and Exchange Commission (#SEC) approved the applications.

The spokesperson also stated that Meta Platforms, the parent company of #Facebook and #Instagram, is currently updating its policies in the US in response to the SEC's decision.
It's worth noting that Google previously allowed the advertising of cryptocurrency ETFs. As a result, issuers such as #VanEck, #BlackRock and #Franklin Templeton have already started promoting their products.
This development is indicative of the growing acceptance of bitcoin ETFs in the mass market. With Facebook, Instagram and Google accepting these investment products, it opens up new opportunities for investors and further legitimises the cryptocurrency industry.
As the advertising landscape evolves, it will be interesting to see how other platforms and companies respond to this trend.
