Revolut launched its own crypto exchange for experienced traders

Market and Events: Revolut launched its own crypto exchange for experienced traders

Neobank Revolut, whose customer base exceeds 40 million people worldwide, has introduced Revolut X, a cryptocurrency exchange designed for experienced traders. This is reported by CoinDesk, citing an email.

The email says the platform aims to compete with "well-known cryptocurrency exchanges." Apparently, the Revolut team envisions that users will engage in #trading on the new platform rather than transacting crypto assets in the app.

According to the report, "Revolut will not charge a commission to sellers, while recipients will be charged a nominal 0.09% fee."

It is worth noting that the intention to introduce an exchange was first announced in February 2024. At that time, it was indicated that the platform would provide sophisticated analytics to clients at a reduced commission rate.

In addition, in March 2023, Revolut announced cooperation with the cryptocurrency wallet #MetaMask.
