Investment company Robinhood has announced the release of a mobile wallet for digital currencies on Android devices.
According to Robinhood CEO Johan Kerbrath, the Robinhood wallet app is now available for #Android users worldwide.

Kerbrat noted that since its release, the iOS app has been installed by hundreds of thousands of users in over 140 countries, while the Android version is in beta testing.
According to Robinhood's CEO, owners of Android devices will be able to manage their digital property, trade numerous tokens on various blockchains, and send and receive cryptocurrency. According to the official website, the digital currency wallet allows you to send, receive and safely store cryptocurrencies such as #Bitcoin, #Ethereum, #Dogecoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Base.
Seong Lee, head of product at Robinhood, told The Block that the team is actively developing new features for the app. Cryptocurrency wallet users will be able to access cross-network exchanges through a decentralized exchange aggregator, which is expected to ease the transition to #Web3.
In its financial update, Robinhood disclosed sales data for February 2024, showing a 10 percent increase in year-over-year sales. In addition, company officials noted an 89 percent increase in transaction volumes in Q4 2023.
