3248 ETH worth about $9.7 million were stolen from the wallets of the co-founder of Sky Mavis

Market and Events: 3248 ETH worth about $9.7 million were stolen from the wallets of the co-founder of Sky Mavis

Sky Mavis gaming company co-founder Jeffrey Zirlin has faced a cyberattack. According to PeckShield specialists, 3,248 #ETH worth about $9.7 million were withdrawn from his digital currency wallets.

Analysts pointed out that the assets were stolen from Ronin Bridge and subsequently transferred to cryptomixer #Tornado Cash.

Zirlin himself confirmed the hack. He said: "This morning has been pretty tough for me. Two of my accounts have been hacked. The breach only affects my personal funds and is not related to validators or transactions on the Ronin network. In addition, the hack has nothing to do with Sky Mavis."

Recall, earlier hacked decentralized decentralized crypto platform FixedFloat lost $26 million in digital assets.
