Market and Events: ZachXBT discovered that $56.5 million was withdrawn from BitForex wallets

A cryptocurrency expert under the pseudonym ZaxhXBT has made accusations of a possible hack of the BitForex trading platform. Users report difficulties in accessing the platform's website.

According to the expert, on February 23, 2024, $56.5 million of digital assets, mostly Tellor tokens (#TRB), were withdrawn from the platform's hot wallet.

Meanwhile, the exchange is a significant holder of these assets, accounting for about 18% of the total. These tokens are currently concentrated at specific addresses.

ZachXBT and other users note the inaccessibility of the exchange's website and the inability to log in via mobile apps.

On the CoinMarketCap platform, information about digital assets held on the exchange was last updated more than 60 hours ago. At the time of the last update, there were no messages from the project team.
