Cryptocurrency platform Coinbase has unveiled a new addition to its NFT trading platform, Coinbase NFT Instamint. This innovative tool enables the creation of tokens generated by artificial intelligence on the #Base network.
Located in the Creator hub section, the tool offers a new approach to token creation. Previously, users could only upload a photo to generate an NFT. However, thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence, the tool can now generate an image for an NFT.

To issue a token, users must connect their #MetaMask, #WalletConnect or Coinbase wallet. The only cost the user will incur is a gas fee.
Coinbase plans to launch its NFT trading platform in 2022. However, the platform has seen a significant drop in trading volume in early 2023.
The level of speculative trading on #NFT marketplaces powered by #Ethereum has reached its lowest level since May 2022.
On January 17, 2024, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission held its first hearing against #Coinbase. The exchange stated that the tokens placed on its platform are not securities.
