Former United States President Donald Trump has released a series of unique digital assets known as non-replaceable tokens (NFTs) into the bitcoin network.
As reported by CollectTrumpCards on January 18, 200 different Ordinal NFTs are available on the bitcoin network.
To get these new tokens, users must purchase at least 100 NFTs from the Mugshot Edition collection at a price of $99 each. This means that they will have to spend a minimum of $9900.

It is worth noting that Donald Trump previously unveiled a collection of NFTs called Mugshot Edition on the #Polygon network in December 2023. These NFTs can be purchased with a credit card or WETH, an ERC-20 token based on the #Ethereum network.
It is important to note that items in this collection cannot be sold until December 2024. The project's Twitter account states that this restriction is meant to discourage the use of NFTs as investment tools.
According to the CoinGecko report, the trading volume of NFT tokens in 2023 amounted to 11.8 billion dollars, which is 44% less than in 2022.
Recall that in December 2023, the former US President sold 1,075 ETH that he received as royalties from the sale of his #NFTs. According to the analytics platform #Arkham Intelligence, this transaction brought Trump 2.4 million dollars.
In January, Trump spoke out against the creation of a central bank digital currency (#CBDC) if he is re-elected as #US president.
