Blockchain team TON, with participation from DWF Labs, has announced an integration with cryptocurrency custodian Fireblocks. As part of the partnership, the company will provide its Web3 framework to enhance TON's space wallet.
Fireblocks is a high-end platform that facilitates the transfer, storage and issuance of digital assets, according to its website.
TON representatives emphasized that Fireblocks' multi-party computing technology (MPC-CMP) enhances the reliability and speed of transaction processing. As the company emphasized, this translates into an 800 percent increase.
In addition, the security of #digital assets provided by Fireblocks, as the developer claims, will increase the security of user #transactions. Fireblocks anticipates that this collaboration will take the TON space to an organizational level.
Fireblocks has not only started supporting the aforementioned cryptocurrency wallet, but has also integrated the project's native coin, Toncoin (TON), into its system. According to the company, this move will allow it to realize the blockchain's goal of providing access to digital assets to 500 million users by 2028.
The importance of Fireblocks' participation in TON is underscored by its successful history of partnering with other top-tier networks. Past partnerships have demonstrated the company's ability to improve network security, optimize operations and drive expansion across a diverse ecosystem," the press release emphasized.
The integration of TON into the Fireblocks platform has already been finalized and is expected to launch as early as this month.
Funding for the development and expansion of the blockchain ecosystem has reportedly been provided by #DWF Labs. The company has also invested $10 million in the #TON Foundation in November 2022.
